Natalie grew up in country Victoria and travelled in North Western Australia and Queensland before settling in Brisbane. She has a professional background in pastoral ministry, working for the past 12 years with young people and the Catholic communities that care for them. During this time Natalie developed an appreciation for the capacity of visual arts and ecological encounter with place to nurture the spirituality of young women.

Patricia lives in Rutherford NSW, on the New England Highway about 40kms from Newcastle. She was educated at St. Joseph’s College, Lochinvar and has maintained her connection with the College through the Ex-students Association and her children’s and grandchildren’s attendance there.

Dominicans in my late 30s after feeling drawn to consider the question of entering
religious life. Brought up as an Anglican, I was in training for the priesthood
in the Anglican church when I met the Dominican Sisters. I was attracted by
their forward thinking, their scholarship, their love of life and their
commitment to humanity.
